Arūnas Rutkus

NBA stars Arvydas Sabonis and Šarūnas Marčiulionis have Arūnas Rutkus' works in their art collections (Arvydas Sabonis owns a collection of fifty Arūnas Rutkus' works). The artist's painting titled "Leaf" belongs to the singer Sting. Since 2017, Arūnas Rutkus has donated his paintings annually to Caudwell Children UK and Amber Lounge Monaco charity auctions.

Life/art works description

In 1985, the artist graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Arts in Monumental Painting (fresco, mosaic).
Arūnas Rutkus exhibited his works in more than 50 personal and group exhibitions in 17 countries, including:
- Art En Capital, Grand Palais (Paris, France)
- Salon de SNBA, Carrousel du Louvre (Paris, France)
- The Fourth Petersburg Biennale “Spatia Nova” (St. Petersburg, Russia)
- European Painting, Sharjah Art Museum (Sharjah, United Arab Emirates)
- International Monetary Fund Art Association Gallery (Washington, USA)
- NATO Headquarters (Brussels, Belgium)
