Regulations for buyers' participation in the auction

  1. Conditions of participation
    Only registered users can participate in auctions and direct sales. During registration, you must provide:
    • name and surname,
    • email address,
    • address,
    • phone number,
    • password.
  2. Auction progress
    • Works of art are offered at auctions with a set minimum starting price.
    • The first bidder to submit a bid agrees to this minimum price.
    • Subsequent participants may increase the price in increments of no less than 20 euros .
    • Bids are submitted by clicking the **Bid** button.
  3. Commitments
    • By clicking the "Bid" button, the user undertakes to pay the amount offered if they win the auction.
    • The user who bids the highest price wins the auction.
  4. Payment procedure
    • Payment must be made within 1 day of the end of the auction..
    • If the payment is not made:
      • the administrator has the right to contact the user,
      • the user may be blocked and lose the right to participate in auctions,
      • the winner is the user who bids the second highest price.

Regulations for seller's art work uploads

  1. Registration
    Only registered users can upload a work. During registration, the following must be provided:
    • name and surname,
    • email address
    • address,
    • phone number,
    • password.
  2. Requirements for uploading a work
    Įkeliant kūrinį privaloma pateikti:
    • photo of artwork,
    • author,
    • name of artwork,
    • dimensions,
    • technique (e.g. acrylic on canvas).
  3. Ways to sell
    • For auction:
      • minimal starting price is set.
    • For direct sale:
      • a fixed selling price is set.
  4. Approval by the administrator
    • The uploaded work becomes visible only after approval by the administrator.
    • The administrator may reject the art piece if:
      • it does not fulfil the standards of quality,
      • authorship is not confirmed (after contacting the author).
  5. Publication and sales
    • The approved work is published on the website.
    • After the work is sold, the proceeds are distributed according to the "Art Sale Regulations".

Art Sale Regulations

A registered user who sells a work of art through the Website receives 90% of the sale amount.
 
5% of the amount goes to the Website and 5% to the artist whose artwork was sold (unless the artist waives their share, then 10% of the amount goes to the Website).
 

Terms of return of artwork

After selling a work of art through the Website, the customer receives an e-mail with the button "Užsakymas gautas" (eng. “Order received”). By clicking this button, the purchase is considered completed and the work of art cannot be returned. If it is not clicked, the work of art can be returned only if it arrives to the customer damaged or not as described. In such a case, the Website administrator must be contacted via info@menoaukcionai.lt with attached photos confirming the damage/mismatch of the description. The Website has the right to contact the customer by phone to verify the situation. If the damage/mismatch of the work of art is confirmed, the work of art is returned to the seller and the customer is refunded. The customer pays for the return of the work of art (sending it back to the seller by mail).
