Aurelijus Kovaliovas

On my artistic path, I delve into various genres of painting – figurative and landscape, traditional and abstract, subject matter and still life. In these various styles, a consistent thread can be found – a mixture of freedom and control, which describes my approach to art. I have always been fascinated by the search for harmony between light and dark. This fundamental contrast is a constant theme in my work. Since childhood, I have felt a passion for painting, drawing and photography. Later, I became interested in stained glass, which I studied at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, where I learned to manipulate light and color. Over time, I returned to painting, admiring its ability to directly communicate with viewers and create a closer connection with them.
