Aistė Čiurlionytė

Lithuanian artist, whose work is distinguished by a subtle sensitivity to changes in form and space. In her works – mostly paintings and installations – there is a constant dialogue between visible reality and what lies beyond its boundaries. Čiurlionytė likes to explore transitional states: between light and shadow, between clarity and ambiguity, between a specific object and its memory. Her works are characterized by gentle minimalism, in which each element is thoughtful and meaningful. The artist actively participates in the life of contemporary Lithuanian art, and her works reflect a mature and ever-deepening creative vision.
