Early life and background

Born: 1976 in Jonava (Lithuania)

My creative path began in early childhood, I attended a children's art school (now the Jonava Janina Miščiukaitė Art School), and in 1994, after graduating from high school, I entered the Vilnius Academy of Arts, where I graduated with a degree in painting (1998).

Life/art works description

I draw inspiration for my work from nature, travel, people's everyday philosophy, old homesteads, gardens. The main theme of my works is the joy of life, which in my paintings performs not only an aesthetic, but also a therapeutic function. All works are done in oil painting technique on canvas.
